My commitment to reconciliation, diversity, equity, and inclusion.Â
I believe in a world of equality. Where everyone has a seat and is respected at that seat, at an inclusive and balanced table.

I acknowledge that I work, live, and play on the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations). The City of Calgary is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
I am grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are with us today, those who have gone before us, and the youth who inspire me. I acknowledge the impact of colonization on Indigenous peoples in Canada and I am committed to our collective journey toward reconciliation.

I strive to live my life in a manner that respects and includes the diverse communities around me, including everyone's unique identities and experiences (including but not limited to disability, gender, gender expression, national origin, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, and veteran status).
I work hard to make sure everyone I interact with feels seen, heard, valued, and empowered.
