Content creation

Your brand's voice is its personality. What you say, when you say it, and how you say it makes all the difference. I have experience crafting effective copy for B2B and B2C organizations, for products, websites, email and social campaigns, and long-form blog posts.

Online tax application

I partnered with the Design, Engineering, and Product Management teams design, facilitate and build a bilingual tax preparation experience.

Optik TV sales page

I was involved in the overhaul of the TELUS Optik TV pages.  My role included updating the pages for SEO value, accessibility, inclusivity, accuracy, clarity, and conversion, and working with the Design team to optimize design elements and improve page sticky-ness and visual appeal.

Throughout the project, I identified and corrected content design best practice principles such as mobile headline length, next-best action presentation, alt text, decreasing cognitive load, and writing for clarity and accuracy. I also edited all the pages to align with TELUS' brand voice and tone since many of these pages had not been reviewed for several years. â€‹I implemented a content governance practice for the team going forward to avoid these errors and inconsistencies in the future.​​

After only 18 days in the market::

​

  • Conversion increased by 4.7%

  • The bounce rate decreased by 13.7%

  • The time on the page increased by 5%

  • Single-page visits decreased by 24%

ATB Ventures - Creating a social presence

I worked with their Senior Product Marketer to identify the goal of the overall social strategy she wanted to achieve. A few unique challenges:

 

  • Make their voice and presence in the market without impacting the integrity of their parent brand.

  • Create a unique and engaging voice and tone for the market that was in-line with their goals as an innovation lab

  • A mangeable and sustainable strategy for a 1-2 person team.

My outputs:

  • I crafted copy for LinkedIn ads that consistently perform 2X the industry standard.

  • I created a social calendar for the team to follow and begin establishing the brand's public voice.

  • I analyze results and engagement over time and implement continuous improvements as iterate on Oliu powered by ATB Ventures' social impact.
